Got my new door handles installed. The key cylinder on the '15 was much easier than on the '13. Had to modify the passenger side to fit with no key too.

Ordered my HP Tuner today and got estimates for painting doors and roof of my black n white '12 9C1. Does $1900 sound right for painting 4 doors and a roof black, w/warranty? that's from the local GM dealership's body shop.

I can't wait till my HP Tuner gets here so I can turn off DOD and begin the inevitable learning curve that tool requires.

I've also been looking at 3.45 diffs and I see them for G8s up to '09, '10-'17 Camaros, and '14-'15 SSs and notice differences in the cases. Which diffs are a direct bolt-in, or the closest to being bolt-on for '12 9C1's?

08-09 G8's use the same diff as the caprice 2.92 , with the exception of the 09.5 GXP , which got 3.23(auto) or 3.73(manual) gears , which is the same diff the 14-17 SS sedans got

the 5th gen camaro is a larger diff , and direct bolt in , with the exception of the ZL1 diff , also you need to stay clear of the V6 NON-LSD diff as our axle do not fit in it , also the lack of limited slip , 5th gen gears are 3.27 auto , 3.45 manual , 3.90 manual

s/c'd cav,
many thanks for the clarification. It's becoming apparent that 1)"direct bolt-in" is subject to interpretation, and b) 1 needs to be aware of and picky when it comes to the many variations available between models and years. There's alot of good info on the subject right here on our forums; perhaps too much for my few remaining brain cells, lol!

Which SUVs are the same??
Sorry, I just saw this post. 2007-12 GMC Acadia and Traverse. Part number 22860591. I confirmed with White Audio and Media that as long as the part number is the same, it can be programmed to my '11 PPV.

Went junkyarding today. Got an entire G8 console, minus shifter trim, for $30. I already have the 9C3 shifter trim and the 9C3 dash trim - so we are well on our way!

One step closer to un-policing the car today.

Got some tires on the new to me camaro wheels and threw them on! Needs a wash now....
