You made me curious, so I checked my car. It's not in my options list. And the extra battery is not present. However, the battery tray and hookups appear to be there (didn't study it to any level of detail yet). So it may not be hard to retrofit. I didn't expect to see the empty tray there.

Not standard--though I'm pretty sure all of the 9C3 PPV's at Jim Ellis Chevrolet (Atlanta) had the dual-battery option. I do know that Steve Eckart, in Austin, removed his aux battery...and his was a JE car.

My 9C3 has the AUX Battery as well, although I didn't know it until this week. It is hidden behind the trunk liner on the passenger side with no access panel so you have to search for it.

I have a 9C1 and I don't have the AUX battery.
