"Hot" PPV somewhere in NC

Post by Navy Lifer »

I'm told through some of my connections that there is (or was) a PPV that received an LS7 transplant that was most likely part of the effort to determine if this (link below) was viable:

I'll try to find out if the car is still in R&D status, or if it was re-converted to a 6.0.....would be cool to see it at Nationals in August.

I'm wondering what happened to the SLP demo Caprice with the supercharger. It was up for sale the same time as the PRI show in Orlando, that'd also be another nice one for the show circuit...

I saved this old ad from Craigslist a while back. Do you think it's related? Some of the details are wrong (a stock PPV engine is not a LS2, and not 505HP). I never called to verify. Just thought it was an interesting ad since there aren't many PPVs to go around... and to have the engine pulled this early is very unusual.

Could this have been the new or old engine?

I was told today, and this is not definite but is a real possibility, that the LS7 PPV may be on display along with a certain 510 Impala SS, will be on display at the ISSCA Impala Nationals next month at CMS in Concord NC.
