2011 or 2012

Post by bluethunder »

looking at both years to buy, Is there anything really bad about a 2011 that would put it at a disadvantage?? No disrespect to 2011 owners.
Located a couple of 2011 that are a decent price and of course the 2012's are a little more money. Can go either way, just need a little advice. Thanks

11's do not show the engine hours or idle hours , and 12's do , some people worry about the idle time vs engine wear

They're basically the same car. I am not aware of any issues with 2011s that were fixed for 2012. In addition to what was said above, you can't totally disable Stabilitrak on 2011s, but that will probably not even matter to 99% of the people out there. 2011s, 12s, and 13s are all good and are the car to get in my opinion since they have the floor shifter and non-electric power steering.
