It goes quick brother.... I know. I bought some seats assuming that they came with mounts now i have to figure out how to mount them. I'm wondering if a camaro mount would fit. If not i gird i'll have to get creative.

What seats did you get? Id imagine something for a G8 would work.

Re: Racing Seats!?!
I have a 2012 CTS-V Recaro driver's seat with 12, count 'em - 12 miles that I was going to install as the driver's seat for my car, however I didn't complete the project due to lack of resources. It'd take some custom bracketing to install plus hooking to the seat connections in order to provide the control voltages. It's actually still sitting in my garage covered over...

Re: Racing Seats!?!
I wanted some Recaro's but they were on the pricy end of relationship problems if you catch my drift. So i just got some generic ones in the same style. I plan on getting them re upholstered with some better quality materials but they actually aren't too bad.greasychevy wrote:What seats did you get? Id imagine something for a G8 would work.

Re: Racing Seats!?!
You'd have to make adapters for the seat to attach to the Caprice brackets, or do a cut & patch on the body tub from a CTS-V. Wiring should be able to be added to without too much difficulty if you're driving a 2011-2013 car. I was going to use an airbag sim with the seat to avoid any unanticipated problems there. It's a beautiful seat, factory new condition.

Re: Racing Seats!?!
This guy apparently says we should be able to fit to the factory mount... I'm sold on seeing if it works
