How easy does everyone think it would be to find and change in full side-curtain airbags into a 2017?

Well, right off the bat I'd have to ask the question whether there were any other engineering changes that might preclude adding-on the full curtain air bag. I'd hate to find out something else was changed and I've now got other things flying around the passenger cabin in the event of a crash. That'd just make a really bad day worse!

since they are missing the airbags id say the module is programed so it only knows what is in the car as delivered

so at best youd have to have either a new module and possible wiring added to the car , or just a reprogrammed airbag module

Yes, there is an idiot light, and there is a individual tire display.

Does anybody know of any Holden engineering contacts in Australia who might be able to shed some light on changing out the side airbags on the '17?
