Nice find for a low mileage 2014 Caprice. Looks like someone did a little off-roading for sure. I was curious what shipping company you used? I used Dependable Auto Shippers a couple times and was pretty happy. Have a great evening.

I used a local transport company up here in Maine. They had another company pick it up in ILL, bring it to CT to a drop lot. They picked it up there and brought it up.

That is awful. I've never seen anything quite like that done by a shipping company. I surely hope that they're paying to repair all of the damage, and completely detail the undercarriage of the car. I'd definitely have it in for a front end alignment and suspension check after that kind of maltreatment as well.

I had a bad shipping experience when I had me E30 shipped from Florida to Texas. The guy showed up with a broken car transporter (a hydraulic actuator hanging off the side, missing or busted bracing pieces, shoddy wiring), he was filthy, and he didn't know how to drive a stick. I ended up having to drive the car on the trailer because he could only drive an automatic. I'm still scratching my head over that one.

Apparently, along the route, he had to deliver a car further up the trailer, which required taking mine off. I guess he forgot his reservations about driving stick, because he got in (as evidenced by the greasy paw prints he left all over my gray door panels and seats), and proceeded to smash my car into the next one behind it on the trailer incline. Cracked my bumper in two, and did who knows what kind of damage to the very nice European SUV that was behind it when I loaded it. Shipping a car was an all around shady and unsatisfactory experience for me. I don't think I'll ever do it again.

It is doubtful I will get anyone to repair it, it was done in the drop yard. It sucks, but apparently it happens cause the employees are douchbags. Friend of mine said they probably thought it was an auction car, and no one would care.

I'm putting it up on the fork truck today to powerwash the underneith so I can undercoat it this weekend. Next week I will get a couple recalls done and have an alignment. The suspension looks ok, there is no physical damage I can see. Just mud. The rim is not bent, looks like the tire has a whole in it.

I'm still waiting to hear from the trucking company up here. It's unfortunate, and of coarse it would happen to me.

Decided I was tired of waiting for the transport company, so I put it on my "wash lift" at work. lol

18,000 pound forklift. If I didn't own the forklift, I wouldn't have done it. And I wouldn't let anyone else do it either. If it falls on me, oh well, can't sue myself. lol. No but seriously, I didn't get under it, I stayed to the sides, had a 5ft wand on the washer.
