Caprice doing donut

Post by cerbomark »

Not what you thought. I ve now put a little over 10K on my Caprice and have done everything maintenance at the 45K mile mark. Car has been trouble free and fun to drive. My other ride is a Macan GTS and I take the Caprice out more often.
See Pic, I m sure this car has done many donuts before.

With all the safety nannies that run on these cars, doing donuts isn't easy. At an autocross, even though I thought I had turned everything off, I entered the last turn of my run a bit fast, and the back end stepped out more than the car thought it should. When it came time to accelerate out of the corner, I had nothing. I crossed the finish line, at idle, with the pedal matted.

I found it so funny, I was still laughing when I pulled up to the guy directing the exiting traffic. He gave me the strangest look.
