Hey everyone...

March 2016 numbers are in. 93 units sold. It'll be interesting to see what happens on next month's numbers with the stop sales order in place due to the steering assist issue...

Hey all...

April, 2016 numbers are in. 18 units were sold during the month. Only thing that I can guess is that these were units that were serviced or had the new steering racks fitted and exempt from the stop-sale order.

June, 2016 numbers are in, 187 units sold. Wonder if that's due to the discontinuance of the Wimpala....

Combined post for July and August. July, 2016 had 58 units sold. August, 2016 had a whole tidal wave of sales! SEVEN, count 'em, "7" cars sold nationwide. I'd say the steering recall and the associated stop sale really did have something to do with those numbers this time around....

Combined post for September and October 2016. September had a good increase in sales over the August numbers, up 14.2%!! Now, in contrast October sales were up 1862.5% over September's number. What an astronomical climb in sales!!

Sounds good, doesn't it. Now, let's look at the raw numbers. Eight (8) units sold in September, 149 units sold in October.

How long before GM stops building these cars?

Didn't the stop sales order due to the steering connector impact that? October sales appear to be those that were delayed while the fix was performed. Rare car is rare...

I'd guess the stop sale order impacted two months worth of sales from looking at these numbers. Also... we don't know if existing inventory in the US was repaired or not yet, if a ship or two came in from down under those cars are supposed to be all fixed & good to go. Since we don't have factory direct updates on these cars it's really, really hard to guess what's going on behind the curtain.
