Video Connectors for our Radios - For Sale

Post by Tom Slick »

Ok, now that Chris has unlocked the treasures in our radios, I can now sell video connectors for them...

I have a limited number of them, and they are not easy to come by.

I can sell them two ways... As a build it yourself kit, where you connect whatever wires you want, whatever length you want, with whatever connectors you want. Or I can sell them as a built connector, with RCA connections for the DVD input and rear view camera, just like the first one I built.

I'm not trying to make a ton off them, just enough to pay for Chris to reprogram MY radio.

Video connector kit - video connector components and 24 contactors (the connector doesn't use all 20, but it's good to have extras!) - $45 shipped USPS Priority Mail

Assembled connector - RCA connections for DVD & RVC - $90 shipped USPS Priority Mail

Sound reasonable?

Here is a link to the Video Connector thread, so you can see what the components look like, and what an assembled one looks like.

Thread: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=199" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

These came direct from SMK...

I will include diagrams, and will try to put together a set of instructions, if I get time to build one this weekend.

Feel free to ask me any questions!

Later,

Do you include two female RCA plugs, or are these user supplied?

I will take a kit, but just had those two questions.

EDIT, removed a question about diagram as you answered it and it,but first missed it.

The RCA plugs can be purchased at Radio Shack or Fry's... I leave it so you can build it the way you want... :-)

Thanks!
