Aftermarket, got it from maverick man carbon.

Its ABS plastic but its pretty well made and has two threaded holes for attachment, I'll update this thread with how that goes later.

It says that it is a mr. bodykits brand wing for 2006-2017 WM/WN on the bottom, which apparently is a fairly popular aftermarket brand in Australia.

Got the wing on, required drilling two holes in the trunk for mounting. Also used some 3M trim adhesive tape to attach it. Color match is a bit off so I'll either be taking another crack at painting it myself or getting a shop to paint it.

Man that VCM intake looks so awesome. They look and work so well I might even ditch my plans for a blower.

Finally had to put some tires on the car. I never liked the way the 255/35r20 looked especially with the staggered wheels. Got some Nitto NT555 G2s 245/40r20 up front 275/35r20 rear. Looks and handles much better.

Rolled the rear fenders just to make sure things cleared, the 255s had witness marks where I believe they were rubbing the rear fender lip at full suspension compression.

I also had a nice altercation with the Camaro lug nuts on the car, they had swollen and were 22.5mm and quite the pita to remove. Replaced them with a set of spline style lugs I had on the shelf. Not a fan of the black color might order a chrome set in the future.

I've put 18,000 miles on the car since I got it, it has been pretty great overall.

Unfortunately it has developed a tick/squeak on the driver side, sounds like a valvetrain issue. I pulled the valve cover today, rockers/springs/trunions looked ok visually, leading me to believe that one of the LS7 lifters has an issue. The noise is only at startup and sometimes goes away in 30 seconds, other times it hangs around for several minutes.

I have a choice to make, tear the motor down and replace the lifters and hope that is the issue, or drop in the other L77 we have in the shop that was supposed to be for our tahoe 6 speed build.

I'm leaning toward the latter. It would be a good excuse to put a converter in the car as well.

If it still has the original lifters and it has high idle hours, it could be grinding down a lobe. Check the oil and oil filter for metal.

No metal in the oil.

Cam and valve train stuff was installed 18k miles ago.

LS7 lifters, TSP Cam, TSP trunion upgrade kit, PAC springs.

Have you tried to run it with the valve cover off? Might confirm/dispel a valvetrain issue.

Good news!

I was running it with the valve cover off and using a stethoscope to locate the noise, decided to reach down and feel the exhaust manifold bolts. The first one I touched, (rear most) the head fell off in my hand. The next two were less than hand tight. Ordered gaskets and new bolts from summit, the noise is now gone. I've never had a manifold leak sound like that, I guess with the stiffer valve springs the sound of the valve closing is very harsh.

Nice catch. That's better than valve noise.
In my experience, it isn't uncommon for LS engines to loosen and break exhaust manifold bolts like that.
