So this all started with me buying a 2012 caprice with 84000 miles for a daily driver.. Then decided to do cold air vararam and Flowmaster mufflers with resonator delete (13.80 qt mile) Then turned into dod delete tsp 225 230 cam and full kooks exhaust 390rwhp 3200 stall after cam install (13.0 qt mile)Then on my way home from the track after I only got 1 run in made a highway pull and spun a rod bearing and the real build began. Forgeed eagle crank and rods 10.0 to 1 mahale pistons 404 stroker kit with big N/A cam stock heads with bowl blend and light porting intake and exhaust . 605 hp flywheel. Comp tiebar short travel lifters brought it in for tune and have a rwhp# of 611 and 617lb ft. Very hard to belive since it only made 605 on the engine dyno. Cam was so big had to change converter to yank 3800. Best pass of 11.90 with issuse with 3rd gear shift.
Pulled motor again to start the turbo build. Went to Kevin at Cartuning.ca for the turbo kit bought the kit and did the turbo upgrade went with a 80mm billet wheel borg warner
Squash duel pump fuel system
1700 cc FIC fuel injectors
3.45 camaro diff (installing 3.23 zl1 rear cradle now)

Mt et Street radials 285/35/19)

There are a couple short videos of the car on YouTube @ Undrcvrppv I can post some pictures if anyone is interested.

A question for undercvppv. What was your rev limit set at? And what diameter converter did you have on it when you spun the bearing. And are you guys blocking off the oil pressure relief valve in the pan after doing the DOD and cam swap? You really didn't have a lot of miles on it for spinning the bearings unless it over reved or an oil issue.
Thanks
Walt

When I spin the bearing I belive the rev limiter was set to 6500 maybe 6700 at most. When I did the cam and dod I did replace the oil pump and went with the mildon high pressure pump. Also my car had a very high idle hour it was over 365 days of idle time .
