That's not my work! I'm lucky enough to have a good neighbor who knows how to tig. If not this stuff would probably be costing me alot more.
I actually tried putting everything together last night, and that bung for the IAT ended up being the wrong thread pitch! I checked my amazon order and i checked the sensor. both say 3/8-18 npt. so i don't know if I recieved the wrong one or what, but i ended up basically ruining the sensor and the bung threads. I ordered a new one so it will all have to be re done. The new bung is from a better rated seller.

Luckily the MAF has a built in IAT, so i was still able to get it all together and running. The new IAT is just for when i get the meth running.

I've been trying to do as much research as I can on tuning. I have the idle pretty good for the new cam. But I'm still not 100% sure I have the MAF table right. I just stuck the stock table from a 2010 LS7 in it. Once my new map sensor comes in I might try to start street tuning it. Everyone seems to want $3-400 for an e-tune. but around here that is DYNO tune territory. So i guess i'll give it a shot!

Well I got to take it out and drive it around today. Attempted to start tuning it in speed density. Didn't go terribly. But I'm having a hard time figuring out why its stalling every time I come to a stop. Its something in the idle tuning. I just don't know what. As far as boost goes, I was building around 4 psi (spring) and then it just quit building boost. I'm not sure why. I changed a couple things up and will try again tomorrow on my way to work!

The tune is getting pretty dialed in on wastegate spring. I'll be turning it up soon once I think its ready! I put a couple hundred miles on it this weekend to find problems. Only major issue was I melted my hood latch cable!

So I got rid of the hood latch, and had hood pins overnighted from Amazon. I like the way they look!

I also cut some holes in my bumper to get a little more airflow in.

One more note- so the 5in fender exit exhaust, with all the windows up cruising down the highway at 70-75. Is QUIETER than my wife's civic with a fartcan. If you roll the window down it's another story. But with them up its actually super quiet for what it is.

A spinning turbo will muffle a lot of noise. Had a friend who had a Mustang SVO he ran in Super Stock class back in the '80's. Don't remember what class specifically, but the engine was mostly stock, except for a big cam, big turbo and exhaust that essentially dumped right out of the downpipe. Rolling up to stage, the thing sounded like an uncapped 4-stroke bike with a big cam. When he let the clutch out, all you could hear was the 'whoosh' of the turbo, and he car in the other lane.....

Small update. Been trying to get the tune dialed in. The G8 LS7 maf adapter harness I bought was pinned wrong. I re-pinned the stock plug and now its working good! But I was getting choppy maf signals. So I had to add a honeycomb .

I'm also running out of injector at only 3psi. I'll push it a little further with the meth. But I won't be able to afford injectors anytime soon! I'm also going to need tires because with the cheap 275s I have it will spin all through first and second no problem.

I'm working on making my down pipe a little better today. It was rubbing my fender pretty bad so I but a small bend in it.

I also heat wrapped it, and then put some high temp gloss black on it. And then I sanded the tip down with a flap disk and put some high temp clear over that. I'm hoping it will stay shiny.
