2013 Caprice 9C1 Dragweek 2019 build
So after watching my Brother in law have a blast this year ive decided to make the leap and start building. Especially with the NHRA rules for 08+ cars being able to run 9.99 with no bars.

Re: 2013 Caprice 9C1 Dragweek 2019 buiild
So far today I did the G8 shifter swap. Probably the worst part of it was getting to the BCM plug. I found that splicing into the purple wire(pin#17in the X1(green connector), and adding a new wire in pin (pin#20) was the best course of action. I used GM part # 13575870. I would have liked to use a new for the purple wire but I was unsuccessful in releasing the terminal.
For the traction control button, I moved the tan terminal from the 9C1 shifter and put it in the G8 shifter harness. As far as the red and black wire, i spliced into the lighting wires. Tested, it and it seems to function just fine. There is no dash display as far as gear position, Im guessing a dash reprogram would take care of that.
I did not do the entire console swap so I didnt take any pictures.
