2011 White 9C3 - Charlotte, NC.

Post by Barney »

Any interest? I have yet to pick up the car. Will be doing that in the next couple days. Trying to decide whether to keep it or let it go. If you don't have a 9C3 and have been looking, I'm open to offers. 150K mile car. A clean looking car in the photos. OR maybe even some interest in my 2012 alto grey 9C1..

Ok, I'll do that. I only have three provided by NC. Front of car, passenger side and drivers area interior shot confirming it to be a 9C3. All showing a clean car. I'll upload a few by mid-week or so. If it's what I believe, a transport car. Then it will be highway miles, hardly any idle time. The ECM will help determine that.

Picking it up this morning. I don't believe I will put an asking price. Though as I said I'm open to offers. The retail value on 9C3's can be gleaned from this site. Not looking to make a bunch of money just don't want to sell it to cheap when I could just keep it..

Just wanted to add that one deer strike is $3500 in just these listed parts. Will you have to get them from Australia? I personally don't know. So even a broken down worn out patrol car has considerable value.

Barney, what do you mean the ECM will determine that? You were talking about low idle time, on a 2011. I thought that's not recorded on 2011s

Hey, that's right no clock on the 2011's I guess I should have said the program or app I use will help get an idea. So doing the math this car averaged 56 plus miles per trip for the last 14,000 plus miles. Not easy to determine idle time say compared to a car averaging 175 miles per start. At least it's not 10 miles, I would have to say the idle would be higher. It's my logic, it may not be sound.

Ok, pretty certain a prisoner transport. Rear cage was removed. Some slight disappointment. Couple missing interior plastic trim pieces. Slight ripple LR quarter, pic won't show. RF fender damage at lip. Seats are good so didn't bother with pic. Radio knob missing. I believe that's it. Runs good shifts good, stops good and cold A/C. A clunk over bumps like a sway bar link. The ECM clearing 14,000 miles ago could be simply the installation of these fresh looking batteries. All we did was slap a plate on it and head for the house. A 2 hour ride at speeds of 70+mph at times.

The clunk over bumps turned out to be "junk in the trunk". The spare tire not seated properly.
