This is one of the dealerships that wouldn't sell to me a year ago. Looks like they would now...The dealership is about 140 miles from me.

You will see this allot now as GM is allowing these dealers to sell their left over stock of at least new 2011 Caprice cars, probably 2012 as well since I have seen some V6 listed on Auto Trader. So if you see one at a local dealer that you want, just ask them if GM will let them sell it to you. I am sure allot of them will be 9C3 and that is likely what most private parties want.

Back in September one of my local dealers had four or five 9C3 cars that GM let them sell and they only lasted about 2 weeks. even with spot lights (Yuk on a 9C3). This is one of them that a local dealer must have bought and is now reselling on eBay. If you look at the inside picture of the A-Pillar you will see a spot light hole. So my guess is that they removed it and filled the outside pillar in some way.

I saw that it was Holiday by Googling the VIN and seeing it was from them. I almost bought a 9C3 from them (may be been the same one), but too much at $25k and I really wanted a 9C1 for my radio equipment.

Here is part of their ad they posted on Facebook, note that they no longer have nay of these cars. Just a reference.

Karl Chevrolet did have 3 9C3's. A silver, Karma, and Phantom black. Silver one went to Mississippi, Karma and black are in the process of coming to Arizona. I bought the Karma and a friend bought the black one. My mom bought the silver one to replace their 1996 Impala SS. Glad to be part of the new Caprice crowd. I was looking for another G8 GT like I had but decided this was the way to go and cheaper than a G8.

Congrats and welcome on board! Glad that our crowd are now 3 members larger. Please do share more details of your story!

I am envious because I wanted a karma (aka pacific slate) or black. Want to swap my red hot with 1700 miles on the clock? :)

Not much to the story other than trying to buy a new Caprice from a local dealer down here that has the state contract and they finally referred me to Karl Chevrolet. My father passed away 6/8 of this year and their 1996 Impala SS is not getting any newer or reliable for my mother without my dad there to fix it which is what led me to talking her into buying the silver one(GAN). Worked a good deal for the pair which eventually led into all 3 9C3's. I had a 2008 G8 GT so I am real familiar with these vehicles.

Andy Simmons here. Many of you may know me from my RAISS days.

I ended up with the black one. Love the car.

So far the only things I have put on the car, other than 2000 miles in 10 days, are the Setina Aluminim Shid Plate and locking trunk box, after market driving lights, alarm and additional electrical for accessories. I also had the flash backers activated.

Did I say I love this car?

Just need to improve the radio so I can use my satalitte radio.
