Listings acceptable to post in this section are Caprice PPV's for sale by individuals, government entities (I.E. direct sale/auction/sealed bids), and the occasional car for sale on dealer lots (trade-in's for example) that do not normally sell Caprices. EBAY/Craigslist/auction site ads are OK for the above as well. Please do not post third party ads for cars on behalf of dealers that routinely sell used PPV's as part of their primary business. If you post a car for sale, please add the word "SOLD" in the header after the car sells as a courtesy to other members. Listings by members with under five forum posts may be removed without notice, please check with a moderator if you have questions. SPECIAL NOTE - We have no role or liability in any transactions other then to provide a venue to advertise the items. Disputes must be resolved independently between the parties involved in any transaction.

Indiana: 2012 Black Car - Now Part Out

Post by B4CU » Fri Apr 27, 2018 3:02 am

I have a salt water flood black Caprice that is probably only good for parts. Car is intact but inoperable.
Body panels are all in pretty decent shape.
Interior is trashed.
Engine doesn't turn over right now but it could just have water in the cylinders still.
Car is not something you will spray some WD40 here and there and drive across the country.
This car needs to be torn apart and the remains scrapped probably.

$3200 but open to offers or trades.

If you've got some pics feel free to post them here, might help you sell. We're used to the bad AND the ugly along with the good!

Thanks

I always wondered if you take a saltwater submerged car and submerge in fresh water like we do boat motors, if some of the parts could be saved from corrosion. Probably not but I’m intrigued.
Good luck with the sale.

Thanks thought I might get in trouble for posting a link to an outside ad.

Let the part out begin. All parts available except for the drivers side fender and front bumper cover. Will only talk price on phone or in person.
