Listings acceptable to post in this section are Caprice PPV's for sale by individuals, government entities (I.E. direct sale/auction/sealed bids), and the occasional car for sale on dealer lots (trade-in's for example) that do not normally sell Caprices. EBAY/Craigslist/auction site ads are OK for the above as well. Please do not post third party ads for cars on behalf of dealers that routinely sell used PPV's as part of their primary business. If you post a car for sale, please add the word "SOLD" in the header after the car sells as a courtesy to other members. Listings by members with under five forum posts may be removed without notice. Also please note our picture size limit of 1280x1024, larger pics may be moderated. Please check with a moderator if you have questions.

Not sure what transmission it has, but our 95 Z28 came back from the tuner and would barely go into reverse. After we replaced the clutch, and had the ECU retuned so it would pass emissions testing, it's a completely different car. IIRC, there's a reverse lockout solenoid that can cause problems. I think it can be tuned out of some cars' programs so it doesn't get in the way, ever. You may want to look at this.

I've got the reverse lockout on my '96 Impala wired to a manual switch but I don't think that's it. My wife said it was much easier the 2nd time around and suspects it's because she was doing it without a shift knob. I imagine it makes a huge difference.
