This is an odd bird, the car has a sunroof. Can't tell if it's an add-on or factory, looks factory to me. 160K miles with a L77 outside of Detroit. Here's the linky...

How does he know it's the only one in the US with a sunroof? We know very little about production numbers.
We don't even know how many 9C3s were made for crying out loud. That claim, in addition to the fact that the car has a lot of other modifications, leads me to believe that the sunroof is not factory.

There is no Factory installed sunroofs on these, that said i wonder how hard it would be to get the guts from a g8 gt and do it? Those generic kits scare me

Even if you could source the guts, slider, cables, panel, switches, drain, tubes, headliner, etc. the car's roof panel would need to have a lip formed into it for a factory fit. The aftermarket ones require the roof panel cut out and lip sealing ring installed around the perimeter. There are good shops out there that do good work. A few of the "aftermarket" companies actually supply the OEM's with the factory installed sunroofs. Having that OEM knowledge helps with the installation and warranty.
