2011 Caprice 9C1, 132K miles, $6,700. A little rough but not too bad, be good for a daily driver beater. Here's the linky...

why do they keep calling the L77 a LS2 !!

My guess would be the Wikipedia entry that says the L76 is an LS2 with active fuel management and that the L77 is just an L76 with flex fuel capability.


I would've thought it was an LS2 as well. What am I missing?

all the LS2 and L76/77 share is the is the size

LS2 is 10.9 compression , 24x and 58x , 243 cathedral port heads , 400hp 400tq

L76/77 are 10.4 , rectangular port LS3 style heads , DOD , L77 is flex fuel , 58x
