2014 Loud Chimes

Post by krabykarl »

Hello All, Took my '14 to a local shop to get a sound system upgrade. Upgraded speakers front and rear, controller, amps and subs. Now the chimes are louder then all get out. I mean major hangover inducing bongs. I have to take it back and leave it to get an intermittent buzz fixed and would like to point the guy in the right direction as how to fix this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Well something may have gone wrong during the installation but a good place to start is the chime volume settings which are located in the vehicle settings menu in the Mylink radio on the 2014 and newer cars. It can be selected low or high. Make sure its not on high setting.
