Not stupid. Bluetooth is EXTREMELY insecure. I don't use it on ANYTHING personal that I own. It might sound extreme, but everything I own is wired. There are a few exceptions for things like my laptop, and that particular wireless network is on a DMZ with firewalls in-between, and I only use VPN software for connectivity.SuperDutyDave wrote: Stoopid......like us cops don't need Bluetooth???

It could be a big liability for the whole police department, so it's good not to have it in the cars!
I'll keep Bluetooth disabled on my devices, thank you. I really like the fact that my PPV came with stripped down tech. In fact, I wish it had less "software" controlling the car. I'm a computer engineer... and there is a reason I feel this way.
