Four Antenna Plugs On LSXtreme Upgrade Radio

Judging from other pictures here, the tan one is the am/fm antenna. The blue one is for the GPS antenna.

Anybody know what the white and black ones are for? It'd be just peachy to find out one is for XM/Sirius.

Mustard is XM

Blue is commonly GPS

NOthing about Black??

The next question on the mustard plug is, "is this a normal XM plug or do I need to find a special adaptor plug?"

Then the question becomes, do I just need an antenna and cable or do I also need the XM box as well?

xm just needs the antenna , as does the nav

Not sure what the donor car was, but I ordered it for my '12. "WM PPV Radio Box Upgrades" I got every cable they offered for it. Nav upgrade with antenna, aux/usb input and cable, back-up camera input.

Thanks for the answer of it just needing an antenna and cables. It's interesting that the cables I'm finding online have a male and female end but the radio and antennas (the ones that will plug a roof hole anyway) have the male ends. Gotta be a female-female cable out there someplace. Update: Amazon has the gender benders I'll need.

Got my box from Australia. GPS antenna, RCA hook-up, Aux/USB connection, XM shark-fin and cables...

Still researching the back-up camera situation before I commit to buying one.

Hoping that the radio will detect the XM antenna and offer a tab for it. Expecting that it won't...

Plugging an XM antenna into the mustard plug did nothing.

However, everything else is working as it should!



It only took me 4-1/2 hours in the hot Florida sun to get everything apart and back together.

I am kind of surprised at how long it takes to load an audio CD into the 15 disc cache.

Next project will be deciding how I want to mount my back-up camera.

Mustard - unknown, not XM cause that is US only
White - FM/AM
Blue - GPS
Black - TMC, traffic information broadcast on FM frequencies

Update!

I tested each one on my own Australian Nav unit...

Mustard - Diversity FM Antenna
White - Standard FM Antenna
Black - TMC
Blue - GPS

I came to this conclusion while looking through the XML that SPS uses to configure options in the radio, it uses the same colored plug and pinning that XM does. However, it was confirmed an FM antenna when I plugged just the mustard-colored antenna in and started receiving radio stations.

It uses FM to transmit current traffic conditions, these Nav boxes have the capability to receive US TMC stations, however, the Australian maps SD Card that would contain specific decoding and frequency information is set for Australia. So, with an appropriate splitter, GM P/N 92253420, you will be able to stare at a screen like this... and not much more.
