You got it right! Thanks!

You need any additional contactors?

I broke the trim piece that goes across the control panel while removing it... was being a royal pain!

Also, removing the glove box on mine is a major pain in the ass... have to remove the knee airbags... so instead I became a contortionist and was able to disconnect everything...

Btw, the middle A/C vents are screwed to the control panel, ad come out as one piece...

While I have the radio out, I'm adding the following to the Quadlock radio connector:

Amp Signal
DVD Audio RCA connectors
Front Auxiliary audio wiring (for when I get the plug for the USB Receptacle!)

Help !

I seem to be at a standstill removing the radio, I can’t seem to be able to remove the top piece of trim that also houses the two center vents. As far as I can tell it should slide out not up. Do you know of anything I’m missing? Or any tips to remove this piece?

That piece is screwed to the radio faceplate... comes off as a whole piece...

Anyone know where the antenna connector is on the 2014 Caprice PPV? I checked the areas mentioned here and pulled out the radio, but the radio has been changed to a MyLink and looks different. Trying to install Sirius FM Direct Adapter to cut out the static...

Thanks

Well you might be the only one here with a 2014 so you may have to blaze the trail.

First off do you know what the European antenna connectors look like? They are quite different from the US looking ones. So you may have already seen it. With many US based accessories you have to purchase US to European male and female converter cables. They are commonly referred to 40-EU20 and 40-EU10 adapters.

Then looking at the service manual I can look up a wiring schematic for the 2014 and it shows an external "Radio Antenna Module" where it has a separate output for FM and one for AM but just a single coax cable back to the radio. So not quite sure where you would connect into??

Not sure how well this will show up:

Can you maybe take some pics of the connectors on your radio?

Why don't you just swap the silverbox for one with XM or send me a picture of the back of the silver box it might already have it and I can enable it for you.
