No way to connect it to the radio... the radio does have wiring so that you can connect an aftermarket handsfree bluetooth device, and use the speakers and microphone for calls...

Hopefully Chris White will find out if the internal Bluetooth can be enabled on the radio when he starts digging into it!

yeah bestbuy said they could do it no problem. i was just wondering if it could be done with a gm item which doesnt make any sense to me sense the radio is bluetooth optional with out the hardware. does the 9C3 have bluetooth?

No, 9C3s don't have it either.

To put it bluntly Best Buy doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground. They will do some ghetto aftermarket bluetooth install which is unfortunate. I have successfully re integrated bluetooth into the factory radio (along with a ton of other features) see my sub forum for details :)

Best buys solution will most likely involve a Bluetooth module that connects via FM modulation. Isimple makes these and even have modules that interrupt the steering wheel control (SWC) wires to control the Bluetooth activation. CANBUS systems are a bit more difficult to integrate from my research. A company from Italy called Pacer makes some CANBUS SWC modules that can be used with the Isimple products. Not as elegant as a factory enabled option I am sure.
