This is probably a silly question, but what type of tool should I use to crimp those terminals for the blue connector to the wire? My wire crimping tool doesn’t do well with smaller crimps.

Will need whats commonly called a non insulated barrel crimper.
They make two styles ratcheting and non ratcheting. I think the non ratcheting are a bit easier for the novice as you have more control and can back off if things are going badly

Search amazon or ebay for:
IWISS Non Insulated Open Barrel Terminal Crimp Tool - Wire Crimper for Molex, Delphi, AMP/Tyco, Harley, PC/Computer, Automotive 24-14 AWG

https://www.amazon.com/IWISS-Harness-Cr ... 429&sr=8-6

With these you have to do 2 crimps per terminal. One for the wire crimp and one for the Insulation crimp. Whereas with the ratcheting type ones you usually do both in one shot.

something like:

To Steve Walker
Thank you so much for your time to make this post. I have a 2013 and want to upgrade the factory radio and amp. I see you selected infinity speakers. it's the only brand I buy myself. I am sincerely interested in buying and all of your cable assemblies for the sub as well.
the whole post is incredible to read and very relieving.

may I contact you directly about the cables?
thank you

Drummerdaddy,
I have a spare WX7 male/female harness with about 2' of pigtail on both sides. Might make your install a little more plug and play. And you could easily remove it if needed. PM me.

Yea take Maurice up on his cable. I no longer make them as the wire got tooo expensive.

but if you are mounting an amp in the glove box and you think the harness that comes with it is long enough you can send that to me and I can put the connectors right on the end of the amps harness.

Dang I was going to order a cable from you. Going to go DSP and all amps in the trunk. Just would saved me a few minutes but I can cut and splice them I guess.

Last time I checked the project list on mouser some of the parts were on back order. If you come up short on anything let me know I will check my stock.
