AUX cables for the IQ/PPV radio
AUX cables for the IQ/PPV radio
Does anyone have an AUX cable for the IP/PPV radio?
I'm getting it reprogrammed by Chris White and am having a hard time finding this cord.
Thanks for the help.

Re: AUX cables for the IQ/PPV radio
You are getting the Audio Aux In cord from me along with the USB. Do you mean the Video in Cord?
Re: AUX cables for the IQ/PPV radio
Hey sorry, right I'm getting USB cord for you, I meant the video cord for the back-up camera.

Following!
I'm currently trying to do the same as far as adding the DVD +/- and Video in +/-. I'm glad I didn't pop for a 20 pin connector since I don't have anything to connect to. My spare 2011 silver box has it but neither of my recently programmed 2012 silver boxes have it.

Pin 1 DVD video signal (-) negative
Pin 2 DVD video signal (+) positive
Pin 3 Reverse camera video (-) negative
Pin 4 Reverse camera video (+) positive
Do you have to attach the shield wire and foil to anything or can you just clip it off?

Re: AUX cables for the IQ/PPV radio
The wire shielding isn't attached on my setup. Just the 3 wires in the cable I used as it was a headphone type cable with a shared negative The negative went to the connector cover/shielding, and the positives were attached 1 to each positive pin. The wire shielding was just clipped back and not connected. Still working well on my car.

Does anyone know if this cable will fit a 2013 Caprice?

Re: AUX cables for the IQ/PPV radio
No idea. Does it plug into the 20 pin connector?
I just finished doing the backup camera connections for our '12 and '13 silver boxes. I enlarged the hole to be able tuck the wires inside the case to re-install the radio and tied fishing line to the cables to make retrieving them easier after installation.

Is your setup home-made?

Re: AUX cables for the IQ/PPV radio
I have the 20 pin connector I bought only to find my radio didnt have the connector, like camrat. I ended up just soldering a home made harness directly to the board in the radio.
If you want i will sell you the connector for what it cost me. I bought it from envyous customs in Australia. I would just say make sure your silverbox has the connector first.
