Is there any cheap way to get aux in or bluetooth support?

The lack of an AUX in or bluetooth support is driving me nuts.
Is there any cheap way to get music from my phone into the car?
Right now, as I see it I can play audio CDs or AM/FM radio.

Everything you need to know is already contained in past threads. You will get the information much quicker by doing a search.

Is there anything that can be done other than the $250 upgrade to the stock radio? That is the only solution I can find.

I'd put a $99 Kenwood in there in a heartbeat, but I'm afraid it's just not possible with the integration into the climate control.

There are several soloution on the market that use FM frequency interface and a hidden away bluetooth module. Can even do phone stuff as well. Some can also use a steering wheel button interface to use some of the steering wheel buttons to control interaction with the phone.

These range in price from $70-$200

I have used the stuff from ISimple and it's pretty good.

They got stuff that just plugs in to the accessory port to stuff you hard wire in. All depends on how mush work you want to get involved in.

Sure there is other stiff on the market as well.

Thanks, I'll take a look at isimple. If it helps, I could care less about phone calls as I just need a music solution.

It was worth it to pay the 250 and have chris white enable USB and aux on the oem radio. I feel like im driving a car from this century now lol

I got the usb/aux cable from steve walker above.

adding the aux requires adding some wires to the harness but overall isnt bad.

I second this. The dealer will brick your radio and still make you pay. Been a couple of weeks now since I've had my programmed radio from Chris, and it's awesome. The $8 mic in the dome light also works well on calls. You won't regret it.

I used one of the FM transmitters, now serves as just a charger. It was OK, for $20.

Aftermarket radios will have to support the climate controls as well.

I've been using an FM modulator with bluetooth. Not too bad and makes it bearable until I get my radio done by Chris. I'll be taking it out just before putting it in storage for the winter so I won't have any down time since it could take some time from and to Canuckistan.
