11-13 Replacement Radio Knob

Post by smwalker »

So when people have asked about missing radio knobs I have always told them not available because none of the GM parts sites ever listed them as available separately. Came across this parts site that I think maybe grabs images from the dealerships parts database and not the sales one they show to the public. Navigating it is super hard since the Caprice is not listed on the main page but was able to find some gems. (edit: HAS SINCE BEEN TAKEN DOWN ;-( )

Anyway the knob set seems to be a good part number in the GM system. Bit expensive at the $60 mark so if anyone gets one take some pics so we know it's something real. And I am not sure if you get just he outer ring or the inner and outer.

GM Part number: 92292578

Oh and found a listing on Ebay AU that seems to indicate you get both inner and outer. Nice:

Nice find, thanks Steve. Wonder if Karo would consider stocking this item, as more of these cars come out of service, expect the parts grabbers in the fleet operation to start stripping knobs, etc... as spares for the units they have left in service. Happens every time without fail!
