13W7 installation

Post by 79sevillecoupe »

So I want to install a JL 13w7 that I previously had in my 2006 Crown Vic and was wondering what i would need to wire it to the headset( like a dsp or some type of processor)? I plan on upgrading the stock speakers on the doors this week to some rockford fosgate power 6 1/2"s and amplifying those as well. I have a rockford fosfate t1500-1bdcp for the sub and a rockford fosgate t600-4 for the mids and highs. Gonna have her singing like Sinatra in no time. Anyone else install subs in their Caprice?

What year PPV you have? Yea you will need a pretty good signal processor for all that. The Head unit is basically a transistor radio in terms of high tech. Hopefully the signal will be clean enough to process.
