Inoperable driver front window

Post by Siid »

i am good with diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues, but I am just awful with electrical issues haha.

Long story short, my driver front window is inoperable. Switch does not control the window up or down. It does not make a noise. It does not budge a little up or down. My assumption would be that it is a bad window regulator, but I wasn't sure if there was an issue with windows that I did not know of.

If it does turn out to be a regulator, do the G8 regulators work for the PPV?

Thanks in advance!

Just two things it could be the motor or the switch. Get a test light and see whats going on with the wires.

Parts seem to be the same between G8 and Caprice GM part 92420927 is the regulator assembly. Motor looks to be included with it and does not seem to be available separately.
