I am in Nashville Tennessee. It is pretty easy to do just took a bit of working out for the first seat. the hardest part was working out how to get the headrest and headrest tubes out
I'm about 3 hours from you, in N. Georgia--at some point I'll work something out with you to pay a visit, if you're open to that option.
I'm looking at some new upholstery work in the area of the lumbar adjuster to avoid the need to re-attach the knob. The SIR cutaway/breakaway seams on the upholstery are critical, but I'm going to be working with one of the companies that offer custom leather kits.
I'll PM you--away from home at the moment, but look forward to meeting up eventually!

yes it is pretty simple and all bolts straight up.
if you want to just put a G8 runner under a caprice seat all you do is,
1 unbolt the caprice runner/track and remove the track harness from the runner
2 get the G8 runner and remove the harness from the runner
3 take out the two wires from the switch plug of the G8 loom as shown above
4 fit these two wires to the caprice loom
5 slot the switch out as shown above
reassemble the seat

Wigid,
How did you remove the heated seat wire loom? It looks like part of it is goes through the black plastic tube, but in your pics the tube looks still intact.

.....Or is there no need to because your using the entire assembly, all the wiring from the the PPV seat?

I just cut the tube with a box cutter down the length of the tube and slid the wires out. when I was finished I just wrapped the tube in black electrical tape
