Oh neat a quick way you can tell a 2011 from a 2012 model. Yes?bsparks72 wrote:Mine is also a 2012. You can see the mounting and cooler lines for the trans cooler on the driver's side of the black car. Mine is the same as his.

Re: Missing front bumper cover clips?
For the '12 9C1, the PS cooler is integral with the A/C condenser(?) or radiator. I'll have to have a look for the trans & engine coolers.ImpalaPPV wrote:I think what xcidmigs is talking about it the missing cooler in front of the radiator. If you notice all the cars except the one in the first picture have an auxiliary cooler (for tranny or Power steering) behind the grille in front of the radiator. The cooler is not present on the black car.

Trouble is, other than putting that into those holes in the cover, they would go nowhere else. What do they hold the cover to?smwalker wrote:Think this is the part you want:

Oh Now I see (or don't see) . Looks like the Energy absorber (92247387) is missing??CrashTestDummy wrote:

Think they would attach where the arrows are?
Or is there another bracket, Anyone???
Re: Missing front bumper cover clips?
I'm pretty sure they do go in the holes you marked with an arrow. I don't see anything else there.

Okay. Yep, looks like that's probably where they go. I don't think I have that energy absorber. Perhaps they removed it for the nerf bar installation?smwalker wrote:Oh Now I see (or don't see) . Looks like the Energy absorber (92247387) is missing??CrashTestDummy wrote:

Re: Missing front bumper cover clips?
I'm hoping that's it. The crash bar looks fine, and the attachments look good. My first thought was that it was in a wreck and they just didn't replace that part, but the rest of the front end looks pretty good, just missing that energy absorber. I bet it was removed to install the nerf bar, and it's like a gazillion dollars to replace.
EDIT: Looks to be not bad, only about $130.00.

Re: Missing front bumper cover clips?
Parts arrived today. The FedEx ladies were surprised when they said the package was in the back of the truck, and I said "yep, it should be a pretty long box.".
Hopefully we'll get time to install it this weekend. I got an opportunity to replace the coil mount bolts with a nice set of stainless hex head bolts this afternoon. No performance gain, just a little dress up.
