I would be surprised if the SS part fit, but anything is possible.

I'm sorry, I keep forgetting the 2013 and older cars have a different interior. My bad.

The G8s are the same pillar? I have been looking for a place to put a A/F gauge. i bet G8 parts are easier to source and cheaper... anyone know the part numbers?

Same part, different color. The problem is that no one makes pillar gauges for G8's either. It has to do with the airbag.

oh. I'm thinking of getting a pod and making it fit to the pillar. not necessarily a pillar pod.

Do you plan to just take a pre-made piece and use body filler to mold it to your pillar?

Marylandspeed.com sells a dual gauge pod and single gauge pod for the 04 through 06 GTO and for the 2010 And newer Camaro. The Camaro should have side airbags though they may be different. They show under the Chevrolet SS coming soon for gauges but do not show pods so far. I put in a email to them to see if they are planning on making them for the G8 and or the SS.

From what I have heard, the Camaro doesn't have an airbag in the pillar. I think this really is the defining problem with finding a part off the shelf.

I know this is kind of old but did somebody eventually come up with a design? I'm looking into doing pilar gauges myself.
