Fog light area

Post by lee33lyn »

Just bought a 2012 PPV and the fog lights have been removed.
What are my options to fill this void?

If the covers are missing you could just put a set of covers on, but a lot of people have put foglights in

Not sure what parts availability looks like these days, it's been a while since I did it

Smwalker on here probably knows all the part numbers and wiring you'd need to add them

You can check the parts listing off the main site menu, all the part numbers commonly used for fog light installs are in there. There may be some NLA conditions on these parts since it's been a while, however there are some other subs that you can find in the various threads dealing with fog lights. Forum browsing is your friend!

Good luck

The bezels to add the fog lights are becoming few and far between now with supplies in AU drying up

Saw someone was 3D printing some the other day on FB.

Those noted above, or read through this thrad:

viewtopic.php?f=21&t=19

Part numbers are listed, and IIRC, it's been a few years, alternates are noted I the thread. I think certain year Trailblazer lights also work.

I can say with some certainty that Trailblazer fogs will not fit.

However, its Swedish cousin, the Saab 9-7x, has lens type fogs.

When I needed replacements, I grabbed a pair from an Equinox at the Pick-a-part that looked the same and fit perfectly. I think these were used in multiple GM models.

Trailblazer, Equinox, Potato, potahtoe.... These newer lumps of cars all look alike to me.

It's been a while since I've done that mod.
