Post by Bill.kurman »

Finally got around to installing my speedhud oil pressure obd2 gauge works good it’s nice to know what’s going on I left the Amazon special multi gauge that I bought originally for oil pressure and that was the only reading that didn’t function so I run it for coolant temp now

Hi Bill,

I have had one of those gauges sitting on my garage shelf for the last 6 months. Just cant seem to make the time to install it either. Any tricks or advice for when i do install it?

Thanks,

John

I got a obd2 plug form Amazon to make install easier and not to have to splice into factory wiring and just got 12 volt key from the police upfitter wires under the console I didn’t hook in the gauge lighting yet but most likely going to put a fuse tap on the swc backlight fuse ran out of time and lack of tap I’ll update when I get to that point
