Passenger floor wet

Post by brewerb258 »

So I have noticed my 2012 passenger floor is wet. I thinking it has to be the AC drain line as I see no AC puddle under the car. I know (99% sure) it is not the heater core as I have hot air and no smell of coolant. DOes anyone know where the AC drain line is? I hate to see what Chevy dealer will charge to clean it out.

The AC drain is on the driver side, up on the transmission tunnel. If it has been raining hard, it may be coming through the door panel. There is thread on water leaks that come through the door panel.

Id the drain in the area of the oil pan/transmission area?

Here is a shot of a car that was hauled to the scrap yard. It is looking towards the rear of the car. The location where the drain grommet is circled. I thought I had a picture of the trans tunnel from inside the car, but I could not locate it.

I think it actually drips on to the top of the trans, there is no tube directing it past the trans case.

Here is the inside view of the hole. Red arrow.
