Re: PPV to G8 seat Conversion
No issues other than me cutting the seat belt tensioner wire on accident. I used the seat backs from the OEM seats (which had the airbags in them) by swapping the cloth and leather seat covers. From the trends I read, it seems if you don't used the OEM airbags and seat belt tensioners you will have issues.

Re: PPV to G8 seat Conversion
how do you find seats so cheap? private sale?
local junk yards want 200 per seat in my area or 600 for the entire set?

thats not bad pricing if the leather and everything is good
Re: PPV to G8 seat Conversion
I just paid $800CAD for a complete interior. Seats, console, steering wheel and carpet along with a few little parts. More than a pick-n-pull but these cars are on the rarer side here. The guy selling the parts bought a whole working V6 G8 to fix his V8 body. It had damage to its driver side rear dog leg quarter panel but the rest was good for him to use and sell off parts.
That's probably the way to source G8 parts is to find someone parting one out.
