Glad your okay. Thank god we dont have deers here.

Am amazed by the prices in your country! I bought my 59KM (about 36 miles) 2014 caprice (middle eastern) for exactly 10k. I even could get a 2015 for the same price but the milage is higher. All it services where at the official chevrolet service provider, no accidents, factory paint (except the driver’s door).

I am insured by State Farm and friday, the first round of adjusters called and asked about any upgrades or added value to the vehicle.
I told him about the alloy rims, low profile tires, about $2000 in warning lights and electrical equipment, 2 ply ceramic tint, upgraded headlights, blah blah.
The adjuster told me, he was going to scratch out the current listed value and bump it up the chain to his manage for additional review.
So, I think that is a good thing.
I should find out more tomorrow and I dont plan to get rid of it period.
I made a mistake and made a post on a facebook group and now I have a dozen gents hounding me about selling it as salvage.
Worse case, I will build myself a sheet front end haha. Horrible but, I have done it before.

Conclusion Update:

State Farm applied my traffic collision under the Comprehensive Coverage.
Claim filed, the only issue I had during the entire process was a lack of a processed Vehicle Title.
The local DMV is backed up on transfers and processing due to Covid closures.
By dumb luck, one of the ladies that works in the DMV heard of my accident and pulled my file from the mountain and completed the paperwork.
I was able to upload the Title friday and had to wait until today (Monday) for insurance to verify and release information.

Value and Financial breakdown:
Total Vehicle Value: $11,830.85
Tax, Fees, Deductible: $290.85 + $500.00
Vehicle Buy Back Value : $1,433.64
Finalized Vehicle Value: $10,340 est.

Remaining Loan Balance: $8,540 est.
Total Repair / Overage: $1,800 est.

Note: High end Rims and Tires increased value of the vehicle.
2 ply ceramic tint increased value, upgraded headlights increased value, some credit given for lighting and electrical equipment.

Conclusion:
Vehicle totaled, I get my vehicle back and cleared $1,800.

Now, I have to research repairing the vehicle myself or deciding to sell it AS IS.

Thank you everyone for the help, advise and support.

Note: For some reason, my title will not change to Salvage. I think it has to do with the Tribal Entity Title compared to a state title.

Amazing outcome!

I have had three cars totaled by other drivers over the last 15 years. I kept the cars and repaired them for daily beaters and they still had clear titles, not salvage titles

If it were me, I would sell the wheels and use the money to buy some front end parts. If there is no structural stuff bent, you could make a fairly cheap ride out of it.

Well I guessed wrong Delmar and aside from the accident, it turned out well for you. I wasn't fully aware of the work you did to it, but this is one time I'm glad I was wrong. For that price you could simply drop it off at a good body shop and have it repaired with new parts for less than what they gave you, minus buy back. Or start shopping for another one. Either way you must be relieved. - Mitch

Oh yeah, now I know why you did so well. I have worked with adjusters on many many vehicle crashes and having State Farm is definitely what payed off for you. I would of guessed higher if I knew that was your company. In my experience they have always payed the most.

David, Mitch and Enginelord.

Yes, I was happily shocked with the outcome.
I had my car transported home.
Now, I am researching the major elements I would need to make repairs.
Depending on the estimated cost and availability, it will determine repairing or selling it.
There are a few potential buyers on facebook awaiting the determination.

Thank you all for the help and encouragement.
This has been a vehicular nightmare.

Am not a repair guy, but from my previous accidents experience, the repairs might be easily be done. most of the parts need to be changed, and some can be fixed, the hard point is where some parts might need to be pulled back to its original location. My estimate price for the repairs in my country, At a good repair shop, it shouldn't take more than $1200, and even less if you did each thing in a separate shop.

I don't know if it's allowed in the US, but in my country, Kuwait, the bumper and hood could be fixed, not replaced. If not, I could use the original or Holden SS bumper for about $130 (Painted and with the fog lights and it accessories). Save a lot with Tiwanian headlights (about $120 for both sides). But definitly would use original internal parts.

GM original headlights costs $1,050 for one side, $683 after discounts on most GM parts websites.

An after market headlight for the caprice made in Taiwan are being sold in my country for about $120 for both sides ($60 for one side).

I would definitly go for an aftermarket that being manufactured by other companies in China or Taiwan. It wouldn't make any difference as long as you use a good bulb.

For example, the original SS break lights costs about $1000 for the two sides, I bought a pair made in Taiwan for $100, 10% of the original price. I saw both, and I saw no difference. They lived for 2 years with my old Caprice and I sold it, I bet it's still working with the newer owner. And I bought a new pairs for my current Caprice *(Example of SS break lights attached)

I don't know where you can find the headlights or break lights online or in the US, but they are available in most car parts shops in Kuwait.
