Hi 2014 ppv here

Post by Mr72mali »

Hi all me and my son just got our 2014 Caprice ppv. 101k miles. So far we were able to reconnect the rear door handle cables. We need help figuring out how to make the fob unlock and lock the doors and get the rear door window switches to work. Any help is greatly appreciated! TIA

did you make sure the window switches were plugged in , and/or the motors on the window regulators ? also check under the passenger seat for the jumper connection(im not sure if the 14-17s had them still)

the remote you might need dealer help with , some cars had the remotes disabled

Thanks for responding. We did check if the window switches and motors are connected. They are. There is also power and ground at the connectors. We opened up the switches and they look ok. We don't have the access cover behind the seat for the dissconnected connector. Thanks!

if you have power and ground at the connector , then the windows should work , did you check the motor connector and see if it got the power and ground when switched ?

I did, it doesn't doesn't have power or ground when switched, the connector has two skinny wires as well. I don't know where they go.
