My sons 2011 white 9C1
Hey all, quick intro. My name is eddie and i picked up a caprice at auction a few weeks back for my high school graduating son. Upon picking up the vehicle, i quickly realized this is quite a lot of vehicle for a 1st car and actually had thoughts about keeping the caprice for myself. The car is nice with lots of BMW slaying potential. I *think* we got a good deal at ~$7500 and ~45,000 miles. All in all, fairly straight with a few a few minor hail dents and missing the rear seat.
been surfing and reading this sight for information and have found good insights, thanks to all for sharing and saving us newbies the legwork.
if anyone has a clean cloth rear seat to match the buckets, please reach out.
thanks,
eddie

Hi and welcome!
Unless you find a wreckes 9C3, you're not likely to find cloth seats. Not even sure the detective has them. Maybe look up a G8 with cloth.

2011 Caprice PPV, former RCMP test vehicle, never put into service

FULL cloth? Or just the vinyl with cloth down the center of each seat. If latter, doesnt have to be a 9C3, but I'm unaware of how common that option was. Full carpet and cloth rear seat are present in my 9C1 so they're out there.
Nice car that sounds like a fair deal to me!

Welcome! That's a smokin' deal on a car with less than 100K on the clock.
As others have said, good luck with the cloth option. The factory 9C1 seat was vinyl. A nice replacement is the G8 leather with the center pass-through, but even those are getting hard to find. Factory rear seats can be had, especially from those who replaced theirs with G8 seats. Shipping can be an issue though, since they're kind of big. Not heavy, just big.

Hey Eddie,
I'm in Thornton, NE side of Denver and I have the factory vinyl seats from my 2011 which are in good shape. If you want them I'll give them to you for cheap. Shoot me a pm, I'm heading out of town for the holidays but if we can touch base before I leave we could work out something.
