Hello all. Name is Lionel and I just picked up my 2012 Caprice Thursday. Got her from Govdeals in Nashville. K-9 unit with 158K miles.

Hi,

Congrats on your new car. I hope it does you right.

What kind of plans do you have for it?

For now I want to clean up the interior. Replace any broken or missing panels and change shifter to G8 style with the console.

There is a smell to it but not crazy. Don’t think the seats were in while in service.

Just did the same thing you did. Brought my K9 Caprice PPV home today (won it this past wednesday) from the State of Tennessee K9 unit. I guess we have some things in common!

Nice!

Any cool k9 specifics like temp controlled fans/windows or door poppers?

It had that K9 heat detecting device right around the steering column....I haven't looked over it in detail yet.
