FNG here...

Post by SS396ELKY »

Hi I’m the Fricken New Guy... I recently bought a 2012 Caprice PPV... I joined to hopefully get and give info pertaining to The Chevy Caprice PPV... I (meaning wife’s) also own a 2009 Pursuit Package Tahoe... Yes I said “Pursuit” complete with vented brake ducts and a139mph speed limiter...

Thanks for the input but I’ve already removed the dent in the front fascia... However my wife put a substantial dent in the rear bumper fascia that will take more than a heat gun to work it out...

Thanks... Not sure what an “Anti-Gravity” option is but I know this sucker flys down the road effortlessly...

Nah, pop it off, apply heat gun and massage it out, you'll be fine. Ours looked almost that bad. There was a short post in a parking lot my wife found that did almost that much damage. Time with a heat gun some wood and hammer, and a moving blanked allowed us to iron most of it out. The only thing is the dirt and paint that was ground into the cracks in the paint.

Luckily, parts are pretty cheap for these trucks, too, so you could pick up a new cover and get it painted, but I bet you'll be fine with a rub out. Tail light lenses aren't too bad, either. I already have a spare set of headlight and tail light modules in storage should we need them.....

Just my failed attempt at humour by the fact that the pics of the PPV are upside down/sideways but yes, they do fly very nicely :D
