I believe so. I am gonna run by the shop that does our fleet work and see if they can connect them. If not, I will have the old ones transplanted from my steelies.

EDIT-- No TPMS installed, but still a HELLUVA steal at $400.

Hi Bill,

Do you know the diameter of the center cap? I have GMH wheels on the way & really want to steal your idea.

Car will also be lowered using SS springs and possibly some other "tricks". Photos taken at dusk, and I'm no great photographer, so I hope they're good for viewing!

2.625" (66.7mm)> 2.635" (66.9mm), depending on the part (cap) I measure--I have several different GM cap designs for the same wheels.

Standard C6 Corvette cap dimensions, not sure how that compares to Holden. Retaining tab depth and diameter may be different.

Bill,

How deep are the retaining tabs? The hub bore is the same, so diameter shouldn't be an issue. Only thing would be the length/depth of the tabs.

Thanks!

It's a little difficult to provide meaningful dimension info--I'm no good at adding dimensions to a photo.

The "height" of the retaining tabs from the back of the cap is ~0.625"

The OD of the tabs (below the tangs) is ~2.125", and OD at the tangs is ~2.300"

The cap thickness from the retaining tabs too the outer surface (at edge) is 0.225"

The OD of the cap behind the outer surface (2.625") is ~2.560", and this diameter is 0.185" thick behind the outer cap surface.

So, to translate to a wheel center, there will be a very small outer recess for the cap "skin", with a smaller step down to something less than 2.560" ID, and deep enough to accommodate the 0.185" backside of the cap.

The tangs will engage a smaller shoulder/step (at 2.125" ID) in the wheel approximately 0.625" further in/below the back of the cap.

I don't have a standard Holden cap of any sort to compare. People have used Holden caps on SS wheels, and I'm thinking that Camaro wheel caps fit on SS (and G8) wheels, which I do not believe are the same as Corvette C6 caps.

Good luck!

Bill,

The wheel company sent along a set of Holden caps. From the measurements you gave, looks like they match - as best I can tell anyway. I'm going to try them. I'll let you know how I do.

Thanks again!
