spare tire

I am looking at getting a spare tire and was looking at the camaro steelies with the rings . Wondering if they would fit ? I see them on Craigslist really cheap . So if anyone has done this or thought about these let me know .

Did your car (PPV?) not come with a spare?
The Camaro steel wheel will fit, no problem. The rim width is 7.5" vs 8" for the PPV, but that's not going to cause any issues.

Nope no spare . Thanks for the reply . I see them on Craigslist really really cheap and was thinking about get one . Can't take a road trip with out a spare .

Where are you located? I just won a set of Camaro rallys off ebay for cheap and figured I'd pick them up this weekend. No PPV yet...but I'm making preparations.

Wish I posted this earlier , just got back from moving family down to Dallas TX . Lol would have been just another 3 hrs of riding lol .

I should have my Camero Steelies on by this weekend. I'm running Nitto NT555 G2's in the stock size.

did the 14-17's get spacer savers and the 11-13 get full size ?

I think the full size spare was an option for all years. Unless they eliminated the option along the way? Can't imagine they would cops need to have the full size spare to keep the car in operation.

all the ones ive looked at tell now have been 11-13's and had full size or nothing , the 14 im getting looks to be a space saver , oh well ive got 2 other sets of wheels from my G8 and SS
