I like my stock steel wheels, but I think I want to change them out to get away from that full on cop car look. I was watching the Holden HSV build video and liked those black wheel and I found that the Drag DR-37 are very close in style and look. They are not too expensive at $150 each and I can get them at Discount Tire who I trust and use for tires.
Do you think these are good wheels for quality?
Will they work OK with a 40mm offset?
These are he specs, what size should would work best: 18X8 or 18X8.5
Bolt: 5-120
Offset: 40mm
This is the Drag DR-37 wheel.
Screen shot from the Holden video, did not see any good pictures on the net.
Would look like this as seen on the G8
Here is my Caprice, it will soon have the Holden emblems.
Looking at some Drag DR-37 wheels
Re: Looking at some Drag DR-37 wheels
Both width should fit. Do a google image search with (drag dr 37 site:g8board.com) you will find plenty of images. You need to get rid of the spotlight first to 'to get away from that full on cop car look' though:)

Re: Looking at some Drag DR-37 wheels
I'm going down the same road myself. The stock offset is 46mm if I recall correctly. Most of the aftermarket wheels have offsets between 35mm and 45mm. Any of those should be fine with 8 or 8.5 widths. I like that style wheel also; most of the aftermarket companies have a similar wheel (I know TSW and Enkei do). Does the DR-37 have a good reputation amongst the G8 crowd?
