Well hopefully I get mine soon and can beat you! Ha

Wish you lived closer.. I’d try to get you to trade me your perfect new wheels for my almost perfect used wheels and tires.

Yep! So many projects, so little time!! Was considering starting the exhaust system (re)install last weekend, but it's so humid out that when we opened the shop doors, the moisture in the air immediately condensed on the floor. Laying on a wet floor is NOT something I enjoy doing, so we rescheduled it for next weekend. We'll see how far we get. I did, at least, get the wiring run, so the mufflers should be plug and play ready when they find their way under the car.

The wheels are yet another project. I was planning on getting the wheels powder coated black before mounting tires on them, but just put new tires on the stock steelies, so won't be doing tires for it for a while. I've really been trying to find a lighter version of the steelies, so I don't change the look of the car much. I should probably grab a steel Camaro wheel to see how it looks compared to the factory wheels. It would certainly be lighter!

You’ll get there, I just bought a tranny for the t56 96 SS that’s been 3 years sitting there in the garage.

Heh, I have a friend here that has his T56/LT1 DCM SS sitting in a garage for almost 10 years because of a broken transmission. It seems the T56 won't hold up to the HP he's pushing out the flywheel of the thing. He needs his 3rd replacement now. =8-0

I was going to do a LS swap, but screw it, I just want to find a good running LT1 and put the T56 in it and drive it.
