Offset recommendations

Hey guys,

I am looking at making some upgrades to my 2012 Caprice PPV and wanted to get some insight from others who have experience with the paths that I am looking to go down. I have looked through previous posts but have not found any with the wheel combinations that I am proposing.

I want to upgrade to a staggered set of 20" wheels, the fronts 20x9 and the rears 20x10 or 10.5. I am looking for feedback on the optimum offsets. I don't mind rolling the fenders but I would like to get the setup as close as possible before having to roll the fenders. Also, can someone provide the hub size? I see that the Camaro wheels have to be machined a bit to fit.

Thanks in advance.

On a 20x10 rear. A offset of 45 -50 works best, you will have to roll the fenders. 50 would be safer

Not much benefit to going to a 10.5 rear cause a 295/30/20 is likely the biggest tire you an run anyways which fits perfect on a 10

your best bet is to search the G8 pages as their fitment is exactly the same.

I'm a New guy with similar questions.

I just picked up my 2012 9c1 in Charlotte and drove it back to Austin. I'm looking at some 2016 SS wheels which are 8.5 " fronts and 9.5" rear rims. Tires seem to be 275/40/20 on the rear and I think they are 255/35/20 on the front rims.

I think they will fit on without any concerns except the speedometer until I change tires to s 265/35/20 in the rear. Will I have to modify the rear fenders?

Does anyone have any experience with these?

I had the 2011 ss rims on mine with 275 35 20 on the rear and 245 35 20 on the front with no issues

The 2016 Camaro SS rims and tire fit fine. the right rear has rubbed gently once with a big dip. They look good, I think. The 275 35 20s would fit better but I don't plan to load up the back seat so I will wear out the tires before I change.
