2016 Camaro SS 20" Wheels

Post by BMase76 »

Still working on cosmetic stuff and getting all the H&R springs installed, but this is my 2012 with a set of 2016 Camaro SS wheels that I got as take offs from eBay. 255-35-20 all around, but may have to go with 245-30 due to the offset. Also preparing to roll the rear fenders since the offset for the Camaro wheels makes the rear tires scrub slightly with a load / passengers in the rear. More pics to come!

I was eyeing a set of those, but decided to go with 19"s in the end

First, as new to the "system" (as far as posting)--welcome! You're close by, so I hope we get a chance to meet and compare notes, so to speak!

Between the 2 cars, you've been busy--is the Camaro wheel setup all-front, all-rear, or staggered?

I've not tried the fitment, but just looking at the offsets, I wasn't sure how it would work, since there's a great deal of difference in the offset range with the new Gen6 Camaro wheels.

Something (I) posted in SS Forums:

What/who/where is you powder coating source?

Thanks for the welcome...I've been able to solve quite a few problems consulting the forum here....you guys keep up the good work!

The setup here is all fronts...8 1/2" that is. There is a staggered option for these wheels with 9 1/2" in the rear, but with the offset I doubt it would work in the rear. I purchased one of the fender rolling tools recently since I'll be doing both cars. Will try to take some pics during the process to post here.

As for the powder coating, my buddies at Metro Wheels here in Marietta did an awesome job. They also helped me out with painting door handle inserts and the fender vent inserts. Highly recommended. Their site is here
