I liked the Camaro wheels on the car a lot.
But I just didn't want to go down to the 30 series tires to clear the fenders.
I drive the car every day and part of the reason I traded the Camaro for the Caprice was to fit people in the back seat with comfort.

I've been thinking about getting these... The HSV look without having to go with larger diameter tires...

I'm sure I can find them cheaper somewhere else...

Any thoughts?

I like the look! And the price! I would go with the machined face.

Nice find!

I have seen the chrome version on a G8 and they look incredible with the light bouncing off they as the car rolls through a cruise in.

5 x 120mm with 14mm wheel studs

GM 5 x 4.75" = 5 x 120.65mm - typically with 12mm wheel studs

The wheel center bore/hub register is smaller on the PPV--if you use a 4.75" pattern wheel on the PPV, the lug nut loading and seating on the wheel's tapered lug seats and stress on wheel studs could eventually cause problems. You would need to use a hub-centric ring, too.

Are there any factory aluminum wheels that have the stock steel wheel dimensions (18x8, 5x120, 46mm offset, 14mm studs)? Looking at aftermarket wheels at tirerack.com, it looks like they all require replacement lugs (12mm?). I've looked at Camaro wheels, CTS wheels, and G8 wheels, and none seem to have that precise combination. I'd like to stay with the stock dimensions when replacing the steelies.

Welcome!

Not sure about offset off the top of my head, but G8 GT wheels come closest to filling the bill.

G8 GT wheels are 48mm offset:

too bad these are in Australia....
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Commodore-VE ... 0915570397" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This website says the G8 wheels are 46.5mm offset, but the number on the back of the spoke is +48mm:

Don't worry about what Tire Rack says about lug nuts. You have plenty of choices--just go to the GM dealer and get what is spec'd for G8, or something similar from the aftermarket. All G8, PPV & Gen5 Camaro are 14mm.

Thanks for the welcome and the info. The G8 wheels are the closest I found but everything I saw said 48mm offset, and it's not my favorite style. I much prefer the GXP/CTS-V v spoke style, but of course those are 19s. I've seen the 18" GXP copies that several vendors are marketing as OE, but I assume those are Chinese knock-offs. The Camaro LT1 18s aren't too bad, but they're only 7.5 wide.
